Baba Senior Outreach was founded by Dr. Geetha Priyanka, a local primary care physician in Florida’s Space Coast who has served the senior community for more than two decades. Throughout her medical career, Dr. Priyanka worked tirelessly to achieve the best possible health outcomes for her patients. Over time, she recognized a critical truth: medical care alone is not enough to ensure overall well-being for seniors.
Many older adults face challenges beyond healthcare—poverty, social isolation, lack of support, and difficulty meeting basic daily needs. In response to these realities, Baba Senior Outreach was created to serve the broader needs of the community and address the gaps that leave seniors vulnerable.
Our organization exists to bring dignity, comfort, and hope to elderly individuals living in or near poverty or experiencing loneliness. Too often, seniors who have worked hard their entire lives find themselves facing their later years with limited resources, inadequate support, and profound isolation. Many struggle to meet basic needs such as food, safe housing, medical access, and companionship.
Baba Senior Outreach stands in that gap. Through essential services, advocacy, and genuine human connection, we work to reduce isolation, improve quality of life, and ensure access to vital resources. Our programs—including meal delivery, transportation assistance, home visits, and social engagement—are designed to meet both practical and emotional needs.
At the heart of our work is compassion. We believe every senior deserves to feel respected, heard, and cared for, regardless of financial circumstances. By mobilizing volunteers, building strong community partnerships, and fostering meaningful connections, we are creating a supportive network that uplifts and empowers older adults while honoring their wisdom, contributions, and humanity.
