BABA Senior Care Outreach

We are a private, not-for-profit organization committed to serving the aging community with compassion and respect. We recognize and honor seniors as individuals, and we are dedicated to promoting their health, safety, dignity, and overall quality of life.

“Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love.” — Mother Teresa

This guiding principle inspires our volunteers and partners, shaping our work as we strive to create meaningful, lasting impact in the lives of the seniors we serve.

Our goal

Our goal is wellness of the seniors.

Dr. Geetha Priyanka and her team recognized that a fragmented healthcare system combined with limited income, inadequate support networks, and complex medical need has left many seniors falling through the cracks and enduring unnecessary hardship. While numerous organizations are dedicated to supporting older adults, only a few are able to provide the personalized guidance and hands-on assistance seniors truly need. Driven by this insight, we seek to build a sustainable, community-centered model that brings together volunteers, local organizations, and community resources to ensure seniors receive the care, dignity, and support they deserve.

Free Housekeeping Support

“When your environment is clean, you feel happy, motivated, and healthy.” — Lailah Gifty Akita
To promote comfort and well-being at home, we offer free monthly housekeeping services in partnership with Aging Matters, ensuring seniors can live in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Fresh, Free Food for Seniors

“If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.” — Mother Teresa
We provide fresh food deliveries twice a month, brought directly to seniors’ doorsteps through our partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank and the dedication of our wonderful volunteers.

Daily Life Support Through the Senior Time Bank

“Do ordinary things with extraordinary love.” — Mother Teresa
The Senior Time Bank connects healthy adults aged 50–75 with one to three seniors in need of assistance. Volunteers support daily activities such as transportation to medical or personal appointments, grocery shopping, and other essential tasks. The time they give is “banked” and can later be redeemed for help from another volunteer when they themselves need support—creating a sustainable, community-driven cycle of care.

Companionship for Seniors

“The most terrible poverty is loneliness, and the feeling of being unloved.”
Many seniors experience loneliness at varying levels. Our volunteer companions provide meaningful social connection, emotional support, and a caring presence to help reduce isolation and improve overall well-being.
